On this day in 1943, Preller Geldenhuys was born in Enkeldoorn (now Chivhu), Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Geldenhuys worked for the Rhodesian air-force as a pilot from 1962 up to 1982 when he retired, he moved to South Africa to start on a new career.
