On this day in 2008, many people were beaten during the time of protests by the police at a night club in Warren Park. Mostly ladies were ill-treated more than men. There were accused for making pornographic material for use to please the whites.

On this day in 2008, ZANU-PF member Martin Kwainona accused a 43 year old man arguing that he had insulted a ZANU-PF member. Kwainona ordered the police to arrest and beat a 43 year old man, who was then improsoned for 2 days.
