On this day in 2020, in Harare, Award winning journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono faces charges fot ‘abusing’ social media to obstruct justice. It is said that, the local and international watchdogs who blames Zimbabwe’s government on trying to strifle critical voices, fueled the outcry for Hopewell. David Coltart, a member for Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights asserted that Chin’ono’s face charges for challenging high level state of corruption which was directed to Mngangagwa and his government.
