Zimbabwe musician Lovemore Majaivana was born

On this day in 1954, Zimbabwean Musician, Lovemore Majaivana was born in Gweru. Majaivana which means, ‘A great dancer’ earned his name because of his agility and dazzling act over the stage. His parents at first did not support his career up until he became famous at local level. Later on, he moved to Harare were he founded his own band. In 1980 he collaborated with Bob Marley during Independence Day in Zimbabwe.
