On this day in 2015, Zimbabwean novelist, poet and playwright Chenjerai Hove died aged 59 in Norway. In 2001, he went exile to the West. Hove was a freedom fighter and for this reason he advocated for human rights in his native country. In 1988, he published a novel, “Bones” and the main thematic concerns were directed to separation. In 1987, he was awarded as one of the best Zimbabwean writers.
