On this day in 1969, Zimbabwean former footballer Wilfred Mugeyi was born. He retired in 2007 and became an assistant coach at his former club Ajax Cape Town. In 2012, he became the club manger. Later on he became head coach of Chippa United. He had an identical twin and referees confused the two.
On this day in 1998, Zimbabwean cricketer Jabulisa Tshuma was born. In 2020, he was chosen to play for the Rhinos which was competing against Eagles.
