On this day in 1923, religious leader, philanthropist and chancellor Archibishop Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti was born in Chipinge, Zimbabwe. E.H Guti is married to Prophetess Eunor Guti, they had a son who died in 2017. Archibishop Guti founded his church (ZAOGA/ FIF), which has branches worldwide. He has also established hospitals, schools, tertiary institutions as well as bible schools across Africa.
On this day in 1960, Archbishop Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti began his ministry in Bindura under a gum tree. The ministry/church was named Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (now internationally recognized as Forward in Faith Ministries), with diverse ministries across the world including hospitals, children’s homes and tertiary institutions. E.H Guti also owns a television channel by the name Ezekiel TV which broadcast from South Africa.
