On this day in 1972, Zimbabwean former programmer, criminal cartell boss and informant to the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Paul Le Raux was born. He started as a computer programmer and later became one of the world’s most wanted criminals. He migrated abroad in the 1990’s, where he showed his programming skills by developing open-source encryption software known as E4M.
