On this day in 2008, a man was abducted and taken to Benson Mine were he was beated for almost an hour by war veterans, ZANU-PF youths and uniformed soldiers. He was told that his sins were forgiven just before he was poured with water, symbolising his re-admittance into ZANU-PF.

On this day in 2008, a 32 year old Uzumba man was abducted by ZANU-PF supporters. He was taken to Karimbika barracks were he was demanded to reveal all the names of MDC polling agents. Having been ill-treated for the whole night, he was released to go back to his place.

Man attacked in Mudzi village by ZANU-PF supporters

On this day in 2008, ZANU-PF supporters attacked a man in Mudzi Village for voting against their political party. ZANU-PF ward chairperson told the man that it was not lawful for the entire village to vote for the opposition party, that is, Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).
