On this day in 1946, Queen of Mbira and Traditional Music Ambuya Stellar Rambisai Chiweshe was born. Before Zimbabwe attained its Independende, Chiweshe released 20 singles of which her most hit song was ‘Kusahwa’ which went viral. Some of the songs potrayed impact of colonialism and social life of African inhabitants.
