Former Morgan Tsvangirai’s bodyguard the late Nhamo Musekiwa died in a hospital in South Africa.

On this day in 2007, Nhamo Musekiwa who was Morgan Tsvangirai’s bodyguard since the formation of the MDC party in 1999 died in South Africa. His death came as a result of the injuries he sustained in early March after his arrest and torture together with Tsvangirai. Musekiwa was said to have been vomiting blood since the beating.
