On this day in 1924, the late Rhodesian racing driver John Love was born in Bulawayo. He participated in 10 Formula One World Championship Prix that took place on 29 December 1962 and achieved one podium in a total of six championship points. Ater completing a lot of evens outside Rhodesia, in 1947 he came back to finish his apprenticeship as an electrical fitter.
